Our Story

At Hair Is Life, we believe that every woman deserves to feel confident and beautiful all the time. That’s why our founder, LaTeisha Renee’, started this company with a mission to empower individuals to look and feel their best through access to luxurious, high-quality hair.
As a fifteen-year volunteer in the nonprofit sector for The American Cancer Society and a long-time consumer of wigs and extensions herself, LaTeisha understands how feeling good about your hair can boost confidence and transform lives.

This company was founded by the owner, LaTeisha Renee' who got tired of buying hair products for her hair from people who had no experience wearing extensions and didn’t know how to maintain healthy hair underneath them. She knew that if people who wore wigs and weaves saw her utilizing the products and having fun doing it, it would make a difference and inspire them in a different way.

LaTeisha Renee’ has a huge passion that extends to art and fashion, and she understands the importance of hair as a part of her identity. She also understands that it's an extension of self-expression and does not define her entirely.
